A Team in Your Corner

Sam and Suzanne were a part of creating and  writing the California Association of DUI Treatment Programs Best Practices Manual for California Licensed Driving Under the Influence Program Providers. If interested please contact us for a copy.

Sam Beasley and Suzanne Lorenz

 Sam Beasley, CAODC has been in the treatment field with 30 years experience. He is an expert in DUI laws and has been active in California Association of Driving Under the Influence Treatment Programs and the Strategic Highway Safety Program.

Suzanne Lorenz, LCSW, is Co-Owner of Prevention Education Program.  Suzanne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker  with 30 years experience in the helping profession, working with trauma and substance abuse. Suzanne is an avid photographer and many of the photographs on this site are hers.

Sam and Suzanne have written a book for therapist and  counselors entitled:Wealth and Well Being: How counselors and clients can break through the emotional barriers to financial independence. The accompanying workbook: Wealth and Well Being for the layperson.

Our Team

Program Director

Susan Prescott, CAODC is a Certified Addiction Specialist who has been working in the social service field since 1995. Her varied work experience includes helping homeless families transition into community and establishing an Out Patient Substance Abuse Program for a local shelter. Susan worked for Prevention Education Program as a counselor for many years before becoming the Program Director in 2008. She has since installed and mastered  our computer software system that helps our clients easily track their classes and payments. She is an organized and nurturing person who runs the program with efficiency and compassion towards clients and staff alike.

Our Counseling Staff

Prevention Education Program is fortunate to have highly qualified and trained substance abuse counselors. They are committed to our mission of being kind and dedicated. We have counselors in both English and Spanish. All of our counselors are registered or certified with the State of California. 

Our administrative Staff

Prevention Education Program could not operate without the cheerful and competent administrative and support staff. They make all of the clients and the staffs job easier. Our admin staff can help you in both English and Spanish.
